I am an amateur gardener and avid hiker.  I intertwine the chaos of wild spaces and the cultivated garden into the content of the works.    Every painting is a composite of flora and fauna that catch my eye and are created over a long period of time; months and years. Slowly the compositions come together and evolve into a lively tangled garden. These works stand on their own as well as serve as the source of the imagery and content of my stained glass art and printmaking.
